maybe, perhaps when martlet "im going to make this right" she tries to stop clover but when clover learns the truth he loses determination, maybe it literally leaks out of him as he loses the reason he pushed forward. martlet unable to put the soul back, and unable to wake him up from this state lays him in the coffin. she doesn't know what to do, martlet wasn't a scientist but she wanted to make things right but perhaps the only right thing to do now would be to give him a proper burial and visit his tomb.
what if he didn't lose conciousness when he stopped moving after he gave up the fight at martlet. when all of them come back, the only thing that kept him sane while waiting for the barrier to break was martlet coming to his tomb and talking. he couldnt respond but he held onto that with all of the determination he had left. I do story writing for tabletop so I'm a fan of the drama but the writing in that isn't "point a to point b" like writing normal stories so while I can feel that its dramatic, I dont know if its sensible as a story

I have just woken up. Im not going to continue the old argument but instead just talk about martlet in general. Martlet doesn't strike me as classical dumb. when she's paying attention she's got some degree of competence, even if her puzzles have some jank, its honestly more than you'd expect out of a lot of people. She's much more severely absent minded. she focuses a lot more in the genocide route which is what leads her using the syringe at all, but it feels like its implied if not outright stated between the different routes that she's fighting with her desire to believe that there could be good humans. it ties together with what she says in the neutral routes compared to "any good in you is long dead" or however she words it in the genocide route. She also took the syringe like you said in the second post for a situation like this but she's not hesitant in the final encounter because its genuinely the end of the line. based on her dialogue in every other route I think she was hoping you'd change and that she wouldn't have to inject the dangerous mystery sauce, but by the time she actually uses it she clearly should have used it sooner. her writing felt pretty consistent other than them laying her absent mindedness on a bit too thick in my opinion but I hear shades of justice has her travel with you much longer which would be a nice change.

that sounds reasonable,

so any drawfags around what got you started other than just drawing. Im not denying the virtue/necessity of just drawing, im just curious. was it the book that has now turned into a classic not video games thread image or something elsewhere?
