For example if you have 224466, you're supposed to cut 4 to turn it into ryankan pair, but I've seen many players in just the past couple weeks make the mistake of cutting one of the outer pairs instead.
The only way you miss the opportunity for these shapes is if you're nyagging away all your good shapes for random cheap hands

These are supposed to be iishanten shapes. Thinking them as overlapping ryankan(246 579) doesn't reveal any extra tiles (56) that would complete two blocks
