From these threads I have heard
>Question: Why didn't Toby say anything about OFF on release?
>Answers:
>"hes actually an immense /v/tard and wants to preserve discussion, but still did the initial advertising and interview for some reason"
>"mortis ghost tricked toby and actually gives 0 fucks about the game, he got his paycheck and dipped. toby simply realized too late, mortis didn't get btfo'd"
>"toby didnt do it because of what happened with yiik, despite doing it for OMORI, ena dream bbq, formless star, we baby bears because he voice acted in it etc. after yiik was released" (also he literally did it for off's announcement as well with an interview)
This is kinda weird actually, wouldn't this be plain as day with any other dev doing this to another one?
What makes Toby Fox special enough to give him the benefit of the doubt?

>GS getting huge buffs to combo speed, damage and tackle
I thought GS was already strong? Are they just buffing shit at random?

Ok so I finally finished my second playthrough by rejecting Adam's hand and I have something to say about the Return to the colony ending.
One, Elder Naytiba is a cheap ass final boss, Providence was more satisfying, Two, I am now 100% convinced that Making New Memories is the canon ending, because Return to the Colony is being pretty subtle about the fact that it is the "bad ending" of the game because it's just a cutscene and there's no DMC3 style end credits fight and there's no mention of the fate of Xion, and the post credits is just the "the search for the truth continues, which shows that they didn't bother to put much to that ending. I may be proven wrong but my stance remains solid that Making New Memories is canon because they put a lot more into that ending than Return to the Colony
