Very aprapo. I just finished the young lady is a reborn assassin today. I think the ending could have been better, to the point that I want to touch it up, but it's not a bad ending , it reminds me of a good Japanese ending, that is to say, there is usually some stumbling flaw but the emotional payoff is there. Personally I would have had Samantha use the watch to get to the crystal on her own in order to save Maria, where she'd have to use everything she's learned from Maria and her own heart to hide, defeat demons, and stay out of Maria's notice until the perfect moment to swoop her off her feet. This would have been the perfect capstone to the climax and the decentness of the ending really makes it feel like a missed opportunity rather than that the ending is ruined. Thanks to metajo I have fallen in love with Samantha, not waifuing her or anything, but it's ost, and the song I use for her emotional support really has that heroine quality that makes you want to root for her. the rest of the ending is somewhat okay. It doesn't reach the highs of the resolution you get in living loving maid where almost every card is laid on the table, but the characters in this story are very young and it makes me long for a sequel even if it was slice of life. If there WAS a sequel though, I'd want it to be from Samantha's perspective.
