I started browsing in 07. I don't recognize anything anymore, every facet of this site except the most niche things have gone to shit. /a/, somehow, is still somewhat salvageable, but so many boards are just utterly not even worth using. I know for some of you this is impossible to believe but /v/ actually used to be a really fun place to hang out. Once m00t left it was really over, and the increasing migration from twitter to here is just the nail in the coffin. The mods and jannies are a pale shadow of what they used to be to, none of them are really interesting in keeping 4chan like 4chan, and I suspect it's because none of them even know what that means. Entropy visits everything, even digital things.
