the great thing about modern capcom is that all of their games are designed entirely around an imaginary perceived audience capcom's investors think exists that would love to play and paypig for all their IPs if only they weren't so skill intensive and then once they mickey up the game and do everything in their power to drive away their actual core fans the imaginary casuals never show up and the game flops while DMCV and MHW continue to pull solid sales 5+ years after launch.

He could be very cruel and capricious to people, and he often was, but, those he chose to respect (often very arbitrary, there's accounts of him liking people standing up to him but also getting back at others for the same) he treated quite well. He fostered a very strong cult of personality essentially, and those he made are still extremely loyal like cena and reigns very notably refuse to bad mouth him cause he backed them as much as he did. And they are noted cases where he like paid for people's treatments and shit, he did genuinely good things. It's stuff like that that kept many fans big on him even as the years went on and he did more and more shitty things.
The most recent scandal is different though, what with the sexual abuse and literal shitting on people claims, and we've probably all seen the indian-tier posts he sent her. Even then, many of his former colleagues stand by him just cause he treated them well.
I don't really blame them kinda in the same way it's understandable that a serial killer's child still loves them, but some a bit too vociferous in their support.

Sometime in the 2010s they began thinking Roman Reigns was a jeet and began to literally and unironically worship Vince Mcmahon as an avatar of Vishnu. 1/4 of the board is SEA Monkies that spend all day, every day, making thousands of posts each gooning over various female wrestlers. The remaining 1/4 is a grab bag of the mentally ill, transsexuals, unironic pedophiles, alcoholics, drug addicts, and actual no shit Down's Syndrome people.

And that is still better than dealing with wrestling fans in real life because you don't have to smell or look at them.

Basically if you like watching wrestling don't go to shows or talk about it with people online ever, or it will make you hate wrestling itself through association.
