what sucks is that I totally get where he's coming from, cartoony cartoons are almost a lost art and I get he wants to make it a thing again through Glitch, but fuck this is desperate, especially since he's a professional in the industry
Dropping your entire inventory on death (ala minecraft, 7 days to die or vintage story) is terrible game design
all it does is make you scared of exploring out of fear of losing your gear, you never go out with the good gear especially when you consider dying in lava in places like the nether
the death penalty should be more akin to terraria, dropping currency

Very strange list desu. You dropped a ton of games you shouldn't have, Astalon & Rusted Moss being standouts.

Also weird choices like Magnolia>Lillies, there's lots you got right but also so many head-scratchers...

They DO require them from a "brain wellness" standpoint.
My dumb ass only got the cube and wings from the Grey playthrough and lost the wings while fucking around with it's tile.
Had to trudge 200+ levels of fucking "one way and one way alone to solve this" bullshit.

Japan success in the mid-late 20th century was thanks to investment by America, especially at the start of the Korean war where we resuscitated their manufacturing prowess in order to provide weaponry for the Korean War (logistics rather than shipping it across the Pacific). After that, we saw the need to keep the country afloat through continious investments as we feared any encroachment by communist infiltrators. But as time went on and other Asian countries also became industrial and wealthy like Taiwan and South Korea, along with Japan's lack of technological prowess in the digital age and their local Luddite mindset (still using fax machines), so to did Japan's commercial empire.
