You can only use it when in SPG mode which telegraphs it more and it only cause crumple on counter hit. Plus you don't get punished for blocking it.

Depends on what your rev gauge is at when you start a combo.

The only things you do with the rev gauge is EX moves, Rev Guard, Rev Blow and Rev Accel. If you overheat it isn't a checkmate like it is in SF6 and the mechanic also doesn't cause shit like throwloops to exist.
