To be more specific, it's only boring if you're a casual viewer that's just checking in to see what this VF thing is. It reminds me of when I watch boxing with anybody that doesn't know the sport.

Fun if you know the technicalities of what's happening, but to an unknowing viewer it's just going to look like 2 people walking in a circle for a while will occasionally slapping each other.
