Cosmetics here are completely shit because they are Chapter themed. For an example, if you happen to don't like Space Wolves then this dlc is worthless to you. And most of a dlc are fucking colors and "successor chapter" paint schemes anyway and not even those unique gear parts which actually would take some time to create

Correct way to make cosmetics here would be to make them Chapter agnostic and preferably all about adding different armor marks to mix and match. That way their content would be valuable no matter which Chapter you like. But as it stands all dlcs are completely and utterly worthless. The only semi-valuable bit in any of them is a potential non-MK10 helmet and only if it happens to be without chapter insignia on it.

Calling all armour autists

If a marine company could easily justify having any Mark of power armour, is there any reason that they would choose Mk2? It seems like the later marks are all superior in their various fields and the only reason Mk2 still sees use is because its the only one available.
But of your dudes were:

> technically competent and well-supplied

Is there any reason that they would choose Mk2 rather than Mk4/Mk6? Or is it purely for the aesthetics?
