I'm not applying to everything. I don't want to work as a car salesman or a dish washer. I just want a basic job where I use MS Excel or Word. Loads of those kinds of jobs exist. Just invoicing and speaking to customers over the phone. Real basic stuff. I wonder if they just get given to women though

Right so let me tell a little about the Canadian healthcare system in regards to lab testing. Every doctor/nurse/tech who collects a sample and orders tests can, at their discretion, make it a STAT order. Stat being they want it done now and not eventually when convenient. This order classification is so overused it's completely meaningless to logistics department and as meaningless as the techs can get away with (they are obligated to give it some halfass priority). This is so bad everyone eventually came up with a higher urgency order that actually means stat. They will say "super stat". I've only handled one of those and i think it was a transplant organ (cooler had a padlock on it).
