It happens almost yearly, around the same time. Pic related, last year's August also had a massive dip in viewership out of nowhere.
There's also other evidence of cull/bug this year because of the weird way the graphs work, how likes are much higher compared to CCV and how poll votes somehow reach a higher number than CCV.
