I still really enjoy how Carty bucks the "boss when they become playable" meme. Her moveset is largely reflective of her boss form except for the biggest and flashiest moves and that makes me very happy.

I'm genuinely wondering if the whole "Main DPS enabled by sub-dps provided DoTs" is Kuro's method of throttling powercreep. I mean, on the one hand, it works; it keeps older characters relevant and pulls them up into the meta if their carry is strong enough. On the other hand, it's also a BITCH for teambuilding. There's also the argument to be made that its only there to be predatory and convince you to roll for multiple characters so the carry can be as strong as possible. I think it works in terms of throttling powercreep, but that seems more like a bonus rather than a goal.

The fact that Carty bucks the usual "Character when they're a boss vs Character when they're playable" meme makes me incredibly happy. She's also really fuckin' hot.
