One big reason was that hereditary forms of hierarchal structures were in place combined with poor contraception made it so you literally fucked the system by sleeping around. Combine that with even more rampant disease and shit and you can see how oppressive it could become. Much of society shaped around the noble rulers and for them being married for diplomatic or economic reasons was the norm which might be hard to accept for romantic hedonistic orgynauts.

You little chinks can aggrandize this feat, but really not an intelligent maneuver. It's unlikely for either side to actively shoot down a cargo or passenger liner, as both sides have radar and ATC and the plane likely identified itself before entering the air space.

But the especially stupid part of this is that both the missiles and AA battery have capabilities to lock on heat signatures. So you may end up being a target by accident

Not to mention the 80 iq neanderthals on the military on both sides that may have SAMs on the ground with knuckleheads ready to shoot anything they see or have downed comms.
