That was expanded a bit under Trump and even more under Biden. They froze transactions for people who protested lockdowns, vaccines, the election, etc. They've made it effectively impossible to sell any gun or accessory in America using Visa/Mastercard/Paypal and almost killed the gun industry until FFL-focused payment processor intermediaries popped up to reduce the cost of transactions from an average of 80% down to 7%, these are companies that "assume risk" and obfuscate the transaction for the dealer - that is still the case today by the way. Then they went after sales of MEMES about the hilarious Luigi goomba stomp that happened to Mr. Insurance himself.
