I gave up on wow during BfA. It's completely unrecognizable nowadays and I regret sinking so much time and money into a story I really liked just to see it get raped into whatever the fuck it is now. I refuse to play Final Troonasy because of how infamous the playerbase is and because I despise the insanity of Japanese storytelling. I liked SWTOR for a long time but once they let you class swap I dropped that shit like third period French. Even went hard into Destiny for awhile relatively recently, until Bungie revealed itself to be one of the most soulless husks in the entire industry, which is saying something.
I still enjoy GW2, even with how disturbing I find it that like 80% of the players I come across are playing females in slutmogs. You fucking know those are almost all men.
MMOs are dying a slow death. GW2 is actually quite graceful in its fading years.
