>Is it really such a hard deck that nobody can be bothered to learn it?
I feel helpless playing it no matter how hard I think.
Most crafts have something that cucks you pretty bad and it honestly feels horrible to face those moments.
Dragon with the orca heals and big stuff that demands answers.
Portal with the self heals and wards constantly cheating out 5 drops that need answers.
Aggro abyss is straight better it feels like for the effort.
Haven cucking with wards, even if you somehow clear 1 aether, what about the second or whatever else comes after?
Rune heals, wards, clears and pumps out very threatening followers.
Sword just demands constant answers.
All of the above boils down to this.
Other crafts just by playing on curve 0 IQ DEMAND an answer for what they do because a single follower left up can result in them punching for 4-5-6+ to face and then you'll have to get rid of it next turn either way.
In theory, you put on the same pressure with the roach in hand threatening a 13-4-15-16 damage combo, but you need to draw the cards and set it up WHILE you juggle with your opponents pressure.
Your opponent pressures by virtue of playing on curve and they'll draw into some bomb either way.
You? Nope.
Every resource spent answering threats is a resource lost from roach.
Games where I don't draw the FELLOWSHIP guy that draws 2 and clears feel lost so often it's crazy.
Yes I'm a shitter, yes I'm bad. These are the reasons why I think the craft is just beyond me.
It was my least played in sv1 as well despite owning the hanged man, big tits elf and the sexfox.
