When I was young, I worried a lot about mind control and beams in your mind, proper tinfoil hat stuff, now I'm in my mid-30s and I've long since realized thr majority of the human race is far too dumb and easily manipulated to ever need actual mind control devices. Hell, these days you just pay off a couple dozen influencers that can halfway decently pretend to have natural opinions on something and you've shifted perception in such an instant and massive way that it might as well be called magic. And I'm not even saying I'm above it or immune to it myself, it's just plain and blatant and there, and it still works.

You're missing the whole point of the comic you midwit. People drink beer because it's socially expected of them. The same way Chinese torture their animals by boiling them alive because it's socially expected of them. Or how Indians eat literal slop thrown on the floor for them because it's socially expected of them. People eat gross shit all the time because they see everyone else around them doing it, that's why they think it's okay. That's what beer is more or less.

Let's not pretend, only top 1%, power users, emulate current systems. It takes too much effort to piece everything together for an average retard who gives up watching a show they want to watch if it's not on Neftlix. 3DS and Switch emulation also has been extremely rocky throughout the years and in some aspects still is, and Switch 2 will not be emulated in the foreseeable future.
