This whole drama just proves why FPS is the dogshit bottom of the barrel of competitive gaming. Even Pokemon has more competitive integrity. There aren't any cheats that'll get you anywhere in a fighting games.

Even if all 3rd party characters got put into their own Smash clone by Bamco and Smash 6 was just Nintendo characters, Smash 6 would still kill its clone like it's done to all of its clones.
Gamers have more attachment to the Nintendo characters than they do Sonic, Snake, Simon, Sephiroth, and Steve. Hell, most Smash fans would see it as an improvement since most of the hated characters are 3rd party

The characters I mesh with the best are Doctor Mario and Falco. I'm alright with Incineroar, Little Mac, and Young Link.

That's... the point. Their main bread and butter video is just pointing out how good Pokemon are in certain metas. There's only so many times you can talk about the landscape of Gen 4 NU before it all blends together, especially because it's not a meta that's being developed like all of the past gen OUs.
They're useful for SPLC where you want to build a competent team for a lower past-gen tier like Gen 4 NU, Gen 5 RU, Gen 6 PU, or etc.
