I never used to think about proximity block in 6 but after getting destroyed about 200 times in a row by the Marisa guy it's finally sinking in just how many moves have it and how early in animations it kicks in
It's surprising, moves with proximity guard have it from like frames 2-4 onwards in a lot of cases
Backdash is such an important neutral tool in a lot of matchups to stop yourself getting locked down

After ignoring DI and stopping trying to do combos and just focusing on getting 1 or 2 quick hits i started having fun in this game...
