Simple answer is yes given that shit like super heroes have been extremely popular in the states since their inception. But a more complex answer is it varies, your average person in the modern day isn’t going to be doing a deep dive into various heroic figures or reading classical literature outside of what they are made to read in school. Normalfags don’t care much about things that don’t fit into the social game. And by that I mean if they don’t get some kind of recognition or validation from talking about it with others then they don’t give a fuck about it.
