How long does it take for a tree to grow? How long does it take to master our current model of science, or even just physics?
See how your logic doesn't make sense?
I know how you think. You think how I thought when I was younger.
"I need that now, or quick, or it's not worth it."
You will think that for many many years.
Instead of having done anything. Now imagine how difficult it might be to attain "immortality."
Let's just contemplate what it means to become completely free, immortal, freed from all cycles, rules and bindings. That requires someone to perceive everything, fully, truthfully, and act in "meta" ways. In subtler ways (from the perspective of a human conditioned to their life, like a fish in water). Subtle not denoting weakness, but literally elusive, occult. Most people cannot perceive what makes up reality, logically. Not rationally, not based on faith in science or religion, but actually from A to B within themselves.
I'm not a sage or enlightened immortal, but so many of these texts point towards the "inside", the subtle, found in real profound silence and careful modes of contemplation and awareness, that differs from the driven and enslaved meme infested minds of humanity. And I'm reflecting that rn, in the hopes of sparking inspiration.
How long have you been trying to silence your mind? Have you only tried forcing the silence? Is the intention of forcing silence not an antithesis of silence? Have you tried approaching this differently? With an exploratory mindset? A scientific mindset?
Or alternatively, have you ever tried getting good at manipulating your senses? Training your imagination of all senses? In some circles, that's the bottom basic skill.
That's a different discipline, in contrast to silence, you deeply analyze, contemplate and gain control of your imagination, that very much assembles your current reality, the screen you see, interpret, realize.
Have you tried getting more lucid in dreams, and IRL?
