Whatever their purpose is in the US, they better complete it soon. Their membership is trending towards zero by 2034-2040. Maybe they can flood Indians into the Masonic Lodges and through the initiation rituals to solve the problem?

You're joking, right?
Holostars are swimming against current 80-90% of the time and struggle with getting paid because most attention and money go to Holo women, guys get written off often because they are seen as competition or as unappealing and on top of all that they have to deal with insane corporate limitations. Only way to make money as a male streamer is to be either really funny and engaging to watch (something like CaseOh or Jerma) or be really good at something (either really good artist or pro tier player at competitive multiplayer games). Compared to Hololive/DEV_IS, Holostars looks like WNBA.

/v/ - Gen Z Is Cutting Back On Video Game Purchases. Like, Really Cutting Back
Anonymous No.717894871

It's not just gen z, but millennials and gen x'ers, too. People are saving money and downsizing because it's not convenient to spend a lot in current economic climate, where half of things you see now are scams or trash quality, especially when streaming services are being pushed hard. In Europe people are even prepping for upcoming war. Every thinking person is doing more of same, and are focusing on essentials only. When things are really turning to shit, entertainment is least of your concerns.
And it's not just video games, it's also car purchases and tech. People are rather buying older shit than new things because new tech and cars are trash quality. Lots of people wouldn't bother buying any car, stove, or fridge that is made past 2010 because they are all shit quality. Repairing them is ass and their build quality is atrocious.

They are planning on culling a majority of the population and mongrelizing a portion of it into an identity-less slave caste. You aren't getting a high trust society in your lifetime unless you learn to scale down and either create or join a local intentional community.

Showing his true colors yet again by cutting his own hype man loose like a dingleberry because he thought one criticism was going to water a scandal.

Imagine already having tens of millions of dollars in revenue and STILL memory holing someone you've worked with for years because they noticed something that you actually did and that other people would be pissed about. Utilizing eceleb audience reach with free keys and exclusive testing to advertise how fun your game is for you, then tossing them away if they say anything you don't like. All of the upsides and none of the drawbacks or transparency or icky lovely ethics, just like Big Boy Developers & Publishers do.

It's not unprecedented to have no stakes or real risk to himself and still make the coward's decision. He did the same thing when he ruled accessing MP early Apollyon-level off limits to mention, terrified that normies would play it en masse by deleting a single line of code, then abandon the game when they found it didn't have proper desync yet (it didn't have stable desync on launch or even now. Maybe next time).

In reality, the only important part to him is controlling the narrative and keeping their cushy situation where they do 5% work for 5000% returns going as long as possible. They wear "indie" like a protective cape, but you can see the fear and greed when they stop talking about the game openly and do shit like this. He's learned really well from his good pals Dean Hall and Sean Murray.

This is why you should feel schadenfreude instead of annoyance every time you open a new patch to see half the game is broken. He will eventually crumble the same way his cronies did: trotting out a janky final product nowhere near his promises and facing the full force of shame, or handing it off to another studio to do for him as he's threatened many times before. Either way, we will get to watch him catch ~15+ years worth of
>"... that's it?"
from the vast playerbase they worked so hard to court.
