I see where you're coming from to be honest. This country (especially the capital) is extortionately expensive in most regards and anywhere outside of the main cities is just endless grass fields that smell of cow shit with the occasional ruin or small town interspersed here and there. If you want to see the most stuff here then your best bet is staying in Dublin but the caveat is that it's at least 30% brown, full of homeless people, junkies, rapefugees, wannabe hardmen and the constant smell of piss everywhere you go
