Play Pendragon. Play Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay 4e. Play Legend of the Five Rings. Play Trespasser. Play Hackmaster. Play Conan 2d20. Play something other than DnD.

Then let them try, let them die, and present your own culture as superior. This endless caterwauling only empowers them to continue believing they're in the war for some grand zeitgeist. Concord died because nobody cared. Veilguard died because nobody cared. Things die because they're forgotten, not because they were this grand, despised thing. There was plenty of hate for Concord and Veilguard but apathy was the prevailing emotion.

Never never never ever make a setting unless you have a specific campaign in mind with it. Settings are meant to start in a room and project themselves outward, not start with The Gods and descend into details.
