KH2 critical mode was one of the best experiences I've ever had gaming. KH3 critical mode on the other hand was a fucking nightmare and required a degree of early game perfection that most action games don't touch. Seriously, wtf was it that made KH3 so much more punishing? Even the tutorial boss didn't fuck around.
Biggest instance of bullshit was apparently they added a bunch of replacement combo modifiers that improved combat on a fundamental level. The only issue is that they locked them behind beating critical run playthrough....so you have to demonstrate you a firm enough grasp on the busted combat...to get the improvements to the combat...
