Alcryst is genuinely a noodley shitter. It kills me the units that get shit on in this series for >nostr, and this dogezaing poof gets a pass. It was popular to meme him as a Lyn candidate at release because casual players love their crit builds and there seems to be superficial synergy there with the shared bow trait, but the guy has REAL damage issues. As in, not make-believe stuff here, not "can worm his way out of his pit with enough grit and damage hotfixes" - honest to god, persistent bona fide damage issues that don't ever go away unless you put him in an actual good class with some arms on it like Warrior, and in so doing make him generic like everyone else.
The issue is there is no Bow Power. Being bowlocked in Engage fucking sucks.

Fire Emblem Engage

Wonderful turn based game, and I really like how it managed to grab a seemingly stale formula like Fire Emblem and make it very wild by having the balls to give the player radical powers. Made playing Maddenning in the first playthrough very satisfying
