You dumbass third world monkey. You're acting like this is some kind of courtroom drama where you're trying to catch someone in a "gotcha" over estimates that LITERALLY everyone updates based on market performance. That's how forecasting works. Your problem is you confuse analysis with fanboy wishcasting.

I'd break this down to your Spic ass since you DIDN'T get it the first time. And this time, WITH ACTUAL data and not fluff headlines. International total is $44M according to Pinkvilla, which includes South Korea's projected $20M before the first showtime has even rolled (it's currently 7 AM in South Korea). That means actual foreign earnings outsidre of Japan are $29M, not $44M. The rest is just modeled projection. Add Japan's $181M, and we're at ~$210M confirmed. That's in line with my earlier projection of $200z220M when accounting for what’s actually out.

And about your 'adjusting is coping' take? No, what’s coping is posting early morning presale hype and pretending it's real box office. Come back when South Korea's weekend receipts are in and theaters are actually open, you greasy third world autist.

I don't hate it because it's popular. I hate it because it's a badly written, shitty drawn manga that is a bad product that reads more like a storyboard for an anime studio to pick up than a product than can stand on its own merits. Which is why Torishima rightly called it out for not being as good as underages, fat ugly women and ESLs (like yourself) that makes up Demon Slayer's fanbase think it is. I like Dragon Ball, it's far more popular than Demon Slayer will ever be and the original manga is also a good product on its own merits. Toriyama didn't need Toei the way Gotouge needed Ufotable to save their ass while still being absolutely unable to draw in 3D.

Nothing. Demon Slayer is as wide as an ocean and deep as a puddle. The story is nothing out of the ordinary, it's just another generic demon hunting story among many that came before and after it. Even a child child could come up with a premise as simple as that, because it's literally "Kill the Demon King" and that's what the characters do. It's a series with an empty world, paper-thin characters, no plot twists, zero intrigue. It has nothing that makes it stand out compared to other works like Naruto, One Piece, DB, Bleach, HxH, JoJo, JJK, CSM and even MHA.

The only reason why people put it next to those works is because of how much it sold and not its artistic merits, all in large part thanks to Ufotable. There's a reason why this manga underperformed for 3 full years until Ufotable bailed it out. Which should also tell you how artistically empty Demon Slayer is, because sales is the only thing this series has going and not what it brings to the table of shounen canon.

So when people say, "I like Demon Slayer", they don't mean they like Demon Slayer by Koyoharu Gotouge who really had not much to do with its success. They mean they like Demon Slayer by Ufotable, who turned an otherwise unremarkable manga into a completely different product.

The anime is good, the manga itself is trash.

>One Piece
Best-selling manga in history and it will forever stay that way. Holds Guinness World Record that only got beaten... by One Piece itself.
>JJK
Most popular anime in the world and has been that way since 2023. Holds Guinness World Record that only got beaten... by JJK itself.
>Naruto
Most watched anime on Netflix. Anime ended 10 years ago, manga ended 10 years ago and it continues to reign supreme.
>Dragon Ball
The Muhammad Ali of anime/manga. The greatest.
>Demon Slayer
An industry plant.

I don't like Jujutsu, but I respect it a lot more than I respect Demon Slayer because Gege didn't need Mappa to save his ass the way the talentless Demon Slayer hack needed Ufotable to save them and fix up their shit fights to make it even halfway presentable (see Torishima's comments), lmao. Helps that Gege actually knows how to panel and draw in 3D. Gege wins my begrudging respect while Gotouge wins none.

Thanks to Covid
>>sequel confirmed top 10. likely to end top 3 - 2
Still won't beat first movie, yen is weak as piss
>>manga sales per volume highest in history, both in japan and worldwide
Basic math which anyone can do if they're not a third worlder (like KnYfags are), divide 220M by 23 vols and you get 9.5M per volume. Good numbers, but also just means it stopped before it could defend the throne
>>merch so high it outsold pokemon in japan
Pokemon beat zoomer Saint Seiya worldwide lol. It's nothing more but a blip

Btw, deeeeez nuuuuuuutz
Get to work licking them chop chop
Btw, Jurassic GOD is projected to do higher than Dominion which made more than ¥46M just from Japan, and that movie was ass lol
Dominion took in $7M in its opening weekend, this will be an easy $800M+ maybe even $900M+, it's still strong in Europe lol

The source comes from an actual native Japanese who translates One Piece interviews along with WSJ news. Your manga is mid and carried by the anime. Cope.
