Both the writers and the characters they write can't be bothered to talk to each other to resolve otherwise simple problems.

Guys, something just occurred to me.

The biggest problem with two of the recent arcs of the Sonic comics is that a lot could've been avoided if the characters just TALKED to each other. Meta-wise, the writers of the comic (Ian, Evan) also have the same problem, resulting in plots that don't mesh well with each other.

The reason why the comic's writing sucks is two-fold yet near-identical, and I think the writers are unknowingly projecting their problems into the comic itself.
