Well, it's easy to see why even xedditcord smells the stink from here. For one, nobody asked for Dust Devils. Dune is too nerdy for Helldivers 2. It is good sci-fi, just not an IP you associate with explosionmaxxing action and political satire. We're inspired by Starship Troopers, which is like the polar opposite flavor of sci-fi.
Beyond that we're facing another bunch of underwhelming additions. The datamined solo silo doesn't pass the demo value check for jammers and detectors. Sure you can fire it at a heavy that stands perfectly still but it might still miss. This thing is built for fabricator janny duties when fabricators are so easy to remove that they sometimes self-destruct by accident. The spear gun will likely be ap3 and pointless with another "it's a pve game, guns don't need power to be fun" cope disclaimer. The AR is just another Cookout that you'll get very sick of very fast if you play a lot of bug lobbies (imagine, lmao). The grenade is a throwable ABRL and just like the support weapon version you'll mainly remember the moments when using it went wrong for you or a mate. The armor passive is shit. Throwing range is shit. You have a dozen mobility options now. Jump pack. Warp pack. Infusion stim. FRV. Your AT launcher and most of your other gear have practically infinite range. Just not enough need to throw things further. Damage reduction armors generally got pegged down severely in the meta when everything was made dadgamer compliant. Everyone wants siege ready and engineer for added offense since reinforcements usually don't become a concern. The only anti-damage armor people still respect is inflammable on incel bot dives. This warbond looks undeniably bad - other than the AR which is the complete opposite end of the spectrum and annoys you that way - you just have to be in complete denial to think otherwise.
