DQ also has increasingly longer dev cycles. XI came out what 10 years ago and we still have little to no info regarding XII. I'll admit that it does a better job of keeping quality to its games.

Yeah the music enhances the scenes. Big reason why people remember Aerith's death is that her theme keeps going on. 5 has battle on the big bridge. The music is as big a part of the games as the gameplay is honestly. 10 has suteki da ne's leitmotif all over the soundtrack
