He needs a producer that knows what he's doing to tell him you either hire a script writer and a cinematographer or you're not getting the money. When he has those things the dude is elite. He needs tough love from a studio/producer that cares about quality. He would never get that from a slop mill like Netflix that only cares about second screen brain dead engagement metrics.

>Genuinely wonder what it will take for shit to stop being so divisive.

One needs to take away the opportunity for clout mining and virtue farming. These Collective Shout Karens simply found a new and innovative way to do it. It's a never ending game of cat and mouse.

>Hard left terminally online clout chaser finds a new and even more annoying way to virtue signal.

>The political center and right slooooowly catch on to what they are doing and eventually shut it down.

>Rinse and repeat.

There's pre and post SW science fiction movies and everything changed after SW. Prior to SW all we had was the umpteenth crappy to barely passable sequel to Planet of the Apes and stuff like Logan's Run.

After SW came out big budget movies across the board changed. Even outside of Sci Fi. The the quality went up because SW showed studios three was massive money to be made with big budget blockbusters. So they put more money and effort into it unlike the middle tier movies we got before like Logan's Run.

There's a clear through line from Star Wars all the way to all time classics like Alien, Aliens, Predator and every big budget sci fi blockbuster that followed.

It was a golden age that ran all the way through Endgame. (Or IW if we are nitpicking because Endgame is overrated)

After that the industry got derailed by woke social justice. Now post woke social justice we are in the mass market Netflix algorithm age with relentlessly mid slop like Superman. So yeah, things used to be better.

In our lifetime you will have to prove to someone you meet IRL that you are not an AI robot in the same way you have to prove you are a real person today online.

That ridiculously hot chick that is illogically into your fat ass IRL will not be a real human and will instead be a robot looking to hook you for a subscription.
