They're friends, and they do this in countless other threads. This is literally a game to them, to ruin threads with self-referential roleplaying.

To my understanding the game doesn't really endorse communism. Harry is unable to be moderate in any ideology he subscribes to, he can only think in political extremes because it's a coping mechanism brought on by his wife leaving him.
Which leads to the game taking the piss out of every stance. You want to be a communist? Okay, go harass that old man to share his sandwich. Want to be right-wing? You're the most racist man who ever lived. Not to mention if you want to go the Ultraliberal route, Harry is essentially larping as a hustler. He doesn't even understand how shares work. I couldn't view it as serious critique. It's a story about a broken man and his fucked-up head.
