Have you ever seen a feral dog? And not just a feral dog in a shithole 3rdoid country where they're everywhere and nobody cares about them; a feral dog in a modern, advanced, 1st world city. Throughout its day, the dog spends it's time alternating between picking fights with bigger, stronger dogs for no reason, and after the fight it goes to street corner and walks around with a limp and eats trash and begs people for food. Sooner or later, bystanders see a starving, mangy mutt covered in fleas, and their emotions overtake them. They take the dog to the vet, administer a bunch of expensive tests and medicine, give him mountains of free food, take him to a groomer and clean him up: all generously paid for by the kind bystanders. And then immediately upon being released, the feral dog goes and attacks more dogs, just because it can/now it's been healed so it thinks it can 1 vs 3 a Rottweiler, a Siberia husky, and a Styrian mountain dog. Then when it gets injured again it runs back to the bystanders and not only resumes begging them for help: this time the dog also starts to blame the bystanders for not helping/giving even more money than they already have, and the cycle repeats.
