anyone else obsessed with doing weapon box runs
I know it's more efficient to loot high value item spawns but for me sticking my ass to the interchang underground or wherever else and just digging through crate after crate is so exciting. it's like gambling but you can only win (even if it's just a few cents a win). I cannot wait to have like 30 new guns and a gorillion new mods to find in 1.0

I am going to be the optimist (for this community that's relative) and say while it'll probably be broken as shit upon release, even the little nuggets of info/teasers we've gotten shows that this is going to make .12 look like the hardcore wipe in terms of what changes/is added to the game
BSG USUALLY don't bullshit about what they're adding to the game, even if it ends up getting delayed by a few months to a year to make it in. so assuming this time has actually been used for whatever their version of polish is and making sure everything works good enough for a release candidate, we can expect AT THE BARE MINIMUM
>main story with several endings
>in raid traders and cutscenes
>several new NPC factions (RUAF, UNTAR, Black Division) with unique interactions
>2 new maps and expansions for several others
>expanded progression system
>weapon paints
>shittonne of new gear - rest of the AK-400 line, retro ARs, several new modern ARs (CGNL 5.45 and Battle Arms Development Tanker), rest of SVDs, DSA RPD, potentially some wunderwaffes like AN-94 and G11, Marlin 1895, RPK series, vz. 61, Winchester M1895, other Chiappa Rhino variants, several new launchers (FN EGLM, RG-6, GP-30/34, Ferfrans RMGL (don't ask me why they're adding this when nobody uses it IRL), M79), fictionalised variants of guns from Contract Wars

I hope so, zombies are even more retarded than Russians, so we might actually have to fight them (and even permanently erase them) in the near future.
