all the stores had a 1 per customer policy so the only way that'd happen is if scalpers bought one from each and every store, even then they are already getting restocks.
even if scalpers could buy them nobody is going to buy from the scalpers at the prices they ask for and even then Nintendo would still make money from them buying it to try and scalp in the first place, the scalpers are getting fucked by the restocks which is a good thing because they are roaches.
