You have to understand that when this game was made you could get away with saying things and expressing ideas through a fantasy setting which you couldn't express in other forms of popular media culture.
This was before the marxists targeted video games to make them into a tool for their own message. They already had Hollywood and the news media, they couldn't foresee how powerful the internet and game culture would become. If they had then this gem would never have been allowed to be made.
