I'm genuinely scared that the new expansion for FFXIV, when announced, will easily overshadow anything going on in Midnight.
I think they blew their load too early with housing and not enough people are going to care about that, because the rest of the expansion is going to be utterly cookie cutter stuff like 8 dungeons, 4 zones, 1 raid etc.
People are already getting lore exhaustion from TWW story being awful and Square Enix has learned that people hate Wuk so that character will be ignored going forward. I'm really scared... not even shitposting but this could be it for us. Might be 2021 all over again.
