Potential new player here, is this game cheaper than yugioh or about as expensive as it? Mind you that the average meta deck will run you at least 1k, slightly less if you already have the big staples, but paying nearly a grand for a meta deck, only to have it become useless not even a year later due to bans makes the game as a whole feel like a scam.
The cheaper options (tier 3 and below) are so fucking underpowered that they're just not worth playing unless you only face decks of similar power, which almost never happens because anyone not on a meta deck is on stun, which is arguably even worse because the deck focuses on not letting the opponent do a fucking thing.
The entry price is not the only reason i want to jump ship, it's the shitty practices (namely rarity bumping, short printing, and fixing the meta by either outright killing the strongest decks before introducing new ones or outright powercreeping them) and censorship as well, from what i've seen digimon doesn't shy away from printing gigantic anime tits, which means i won't get kicked out for showing up with titty mats and sleeves either.
