All good questions. Now I think you can understand the position of the government when faced with the objective existence of such creatures. How do you make a decision affecting the fate of the entire world when faced with such questions? Let's get one thing straight, they absolutely exist, are here, and are working with our government. The why is the real question. Why are they so interested in human bodies, why the mutilations? Why do they drain blood from cows? There's a reason people like to generalize them as demons, they don't act rationally and may not actually be aliens at all as some of the whistleblowers have suggested. I would say this is an accurate assumption considering they share a fairly close body plan with us, something that should be highly unlikely if we were totally unrelated.
