I mean I never knew calling you a faggot was a political statement, OP but I guess every time you open your mouth I can kill two birds with one stone.

So it's NuFun to enjoy a game based on your own experiences so we should
instead listen to you and hate it because you say so? By your logic all fun is nufun unless ironically, some random dipshit gaslights you into thinking otherwise.

Because when faggots are using shit like MTL as their examples of what their ideal localization looks like it always reads like shit. Digimon Seekers is a fucking slog to read because of MTL. On top of that, even if a localization stays close to the original, if those same faggots don't like what the original text would say they will proceed to claim it's not part of the original script then use MTL to completely fuck up the original text so they can LARP as knowing Japanese despite the fact that if they did then they can easily just fucking ignore the localization.

I didn't hate her, that would require me to feel strong enough about her to feel a particular way. Other than the interruption in the Sphene fight she more or less was just a Shonen MC at her core. We had been relegated to a mentor character which I didn't mind because Endwalker should've been the end of our personal story imho. The issue with Wuk is in presentation, and the nature of an MMO story where you aren't the MC. Like the FFT raids had Ramza as the MC but he was primarily on the sidelines in actual combat other than the cheer during Ultima. Wuk is a constant presence that primarily feels off due to the constant air that despite you being the mentor here in any place that you could contribute Wuk is already there, she is perpetually on par if not better at times than you, making it feel at times that you're less a mentor figure and more a sidekick. That's a fault on the narrative structure of Dawntrail moreso than Wuk as a character. It's part of why I'm glad Bakool Ja Ja is in that slot for the FFXI raids, because he needs a guiding hand far more considering his faults and needing to basically unlearn what was beaten into him
>"Compare it to everything existing about SH"
Like Homecoming, or Downpour, or Book of Memories, or The Short Message or Ascension?
Silent Hill 2's remake being anything but a trainwreck was a miracle in itself and Silent Hill f looks like it'll be good too.
Also the final Team Silent game wasn't in Silent Hill either in case you forgot
Been reading this thread and it's certainly interesting. Let me see if I have the timeline right
>Dev makes an early access free game with horror themes but also some comedy and waifu stuff
>Gets small niche fanbase
>Suffers severe head trauma
>Falls into a schizophrenic meltdown gutting not just the previous character moments of the story but also throwing everything about the game out of the window
>Continues insisting this was all intentional despite this all coming to light after said head injury to the point of lolcow levels of mockery from anyone who wasn't attached to this game and sheer disappointment from those who were
One hell of a PSA for making sure you don't split your head open
