More should have been done to protect the race on the spanish end obviously. They did step up efforts, but not enough every time. The UCI were undoubtedly placated by the increase in police each time so they didn't need to cancel the race. In hindsight after a few stages were impacted, the UCI should have called it because it was clearly targeted and could have been significantly worse in the end. Pours a deep, opaque dark chocolate color with coffee-colored mousse. The nose is roasted malt, espresso, chocolate. The palate has a medium/heavy mouthfeel but firmly carbonated and the booze is hidden. Flavor is mocha and roasted, nutty bread. This is fantastic for such a big beer.
