37 always seems like a decent middle ground to me but I think you can get shaved down to 35 if you're really light cost focus and build tight, or up to 40 if you run landfall or really really heavy curve. I like 36 on most of my stuff since I always run fuck tons of draw and that always seems to be the issue to me in decks over actual land amount a lot of games, when players start to putter out mid game and what have you. Low land is an early game issue, low draw is the big issue past that imo

This is autistic but bear with me. I'm wanting to make an angel themed deck with Liesa as either my commander or a strong presence in my 99.
In lore are there any good aligned demons or more morally righteous black color characters that I could include that would make sense in the context of helping a divine entity? As someone who exclusive drafts and plays commander, I can tell you there haven't been any good sets to draft in the last year. Maybe Duskmourn??? Rooms mattered a lot more in the draft environment and that was fun. There were a lot of enchantment synergies going on. It got very repetitive very quickly though.

I'm surprised at how watchable it is. I rewatched it during covid and remember enjoying it, but I thought going back this year some of the early episodes would be a slog, but they're not at all.
The characters are delightfully well written and it's very clear the sort of people they are in just a couple episodes. The world is rich and varied. Some things are a little overexplained and there's no reason for characters to be referring to bending as "magic" in the first few episodes other than for the benefit of the audience, but the show is constantly moving and every episode is a complete little adventure.

Shame the writers completely raped their own setting and forgot how to write good stories in Korra.

Best advice with stax is don't fuck with lands. People get upset about that more than anything. Only thing I run is Damping Sphere and that usually slides because it only affects lands that tap for more than 1 mana which is greedy.

First of all they can remove all context. Do you know how much Magic sets usually sell for comparison? Do you know how quickly? Do you know what periods are measured? Do you know if Hasbro's methods for measuring have remained consistent over the years?
Then you can word the announcement cleverly. Everyone is parroting "sold 200 million in one day" but what did Hasbro themselves actually say? What was their wording? What do they regard as a "sale"? Did they sell it to third parties or to their own subsidiaries?
And then fail to follow up. Did they actually MAKE 200M or was some of it cancelled or refunded? Was some of it contingent on things that ultimately didn't happen? If I "sell" you a hundred cars and you bring 99 back because you only meant to buy 1, I can still crow about selling you 100 cars because I did.
