A famous hero whose story is all too well known. Rather, let's dwell for a moment on shameful things that never made it into songs. He was a little silly in his early years. For the sake of example, he ran away from his parents as a child, not wanting to leave childhood again. He soon realized that it was a mistake he would regret, but he could not take back his actions. And when he left before his parents could name him, he had the opportunity to choose which name to use. There were many possibilities that he considered, and soon he called himself "Bob" decided to call before, thank God, he decided to take it seriously. Recently named "One", he undertook many expeditions around the world, becoming more and more skilled and wiser. But the story of "One" does not truly begin until his second arrives to compare him. Collaborating with her, they will save humanity from the misery of the past, all over the world. But after seeing all that darkness, he wanted more. When she led against the Elder Gods, her forces of the Lutilent Varmaxins, the Dark Elves, and many others, "One" was there to meet them in battle. He met her well, blow for blow, before he perished without any retention of hatred. But finally his comrades There were those who reached the heavens to bring her back to earth, burying the shell in which her spirit had dwelt in the earth. When years after the last trumpet sounded, "One" was dead and victorious, and the forces that once raged against the heavens were forced to continue their fight in a completely different sense in the case of the Throne of the Vetters.

Vtorusha Second Seat, 900 years from here to ???
Origin There is no one who has not heard of Vtorusha and her pure purpose. People almost lifted the throne far above their measure, so that the letter Lyudi in turn rose the highest. She was not revered for her character, like her predecessor, but for her ambition. Although her cause was not victorious, even her detractors recognize the end and the meaning of her struggle. The songs for which Vtorusha fought are sung by those for whom she had fought. A tragic figure whose conflicting ideology created a rift between her and her master, which eventually grew into a full-scale war. Vtorusha wept when she killed him. All she ever wanted was to give people the freedom to tell their stories They ruled. Engineering is what it really is. It was curious to see what the world could truly be and what its laws were, yet the essence of their observance. It is the source of nine-tenths of all the relics of the Outsiders that can be found throughout the world. During the War of Heaven and Earth, it creates many wonders. Through its peak, Vtorusha explored the dynamics of portals to lower accelerated bronze columns from the sky into the enemy's target. Once, it had even sent smaller war machines and a mindless skeleton into space to establish a forward base on the moon - bring it there today, and one inhabitant lives in its image.

Race: Majin
Language of Origin: 00
Third Seat , 800 to 201 years ago at Origin
He who slew the last of the True Dragons. He who banished the Dark Elves to the Underworld. He who released Majin into the world. He who allowed a single gremlin to escape from prison. The first Demon Lord. He who had vowed to "clean up the mess his predecessors left in their quarrels" when he first began. Few in the world know that all of this was actually done by the Outsider. He did not allow himself to tarnish the reputation of this office by publicly attaching his name to it, at least. His creations will love him more than anyone else, a great difference from the Demon Lords he spawned, while most of his successors considered Main to be mere playthings. All the dice they threw always appeared to be one, yet he happened to compose a whole pack of cards. He was Xsian, the great progenitor - but before that, he was the son of Xsian. When impossible difficulties and card fate confronted him, he always managed to escape or steal victory. He was full of ambition: for power, for domination, for secret knowledge. But he was never outright malicious. Is it so bad to seek greatness? Although his protector God was [SRTR], [IMPΠ”] they find and can receive his protection through his own works, bringing him help from both the Elder Gods and his adversary - an incredibly rare thing.
Initial Persons Father: Xsian (Fert) – Father of Aat, fathered by a Demon Host, not by natural mating (the unique ability of the Letters allows him to generate a copy of the Demon Host possessing the Letter). Aat arranged a body swap with him in order to escape his fate of being the Eternal Curse at the last moment.

All of them are mirrors of people in these threads plans. One is simply an adventurer who enjoyed the world.
Two was someone who wished to bring freedom to the world through the study of its own laws rather than trying to cheat in her own but was opposed by the others and the status quo which inevitably crushed her.
Three wanted to fix the problems of his predecessors but ended up the worst amongst them in terms of fuck ups.
Four tried to play clever with the death runes and was inflexible to changing the plans he made at the beginning expecting everything to just work perfectly as he expected it to.
Five is a person dedicated to fixing one issue of the setting with a crazy strategy which fails to account for active future variables.
6 was a nothing ever happens chud.
Seven planned everything out through careful use of death runes but failed to really advance anything.
8 was a dedicated PKing power gamer.

Eh, at her core Charlotte was a fundamentally good person who made poor choices in her build (which is recoverable) but who was incapable of accepting her own mistakes and the consequences of her actions, which slowly twisted her into a bitter monster. If you can understand Charlotte, then you need to go into things understanding that you need to accept those consequences to grow and improve as a person.

Anon, the escapism has a definitive end. Even if your character is immortal, once they accomplish their final objective their story is practically over. Sure, imagine you become a god at the end. Then what? You can say that you ruled uncontested for the end of time, but that is just a meaningless epilogue, your story is practically over and the narrative will simply move on to something else just as you move to another cyoa.
Hell OR even has a character who got her "happy ending" and was suddenly brought back to the story by force when she was happy in retirement. That's the whole point.

Your approach to narratives is reductionist because you base it on classical storytelling mediums like, you know, books. Nothing says the story can't go on forever and have its interludes and microepilogues or whatnot. It won't be interesting to the reader if a book is written about it (or any other linear medium created, for that matter, like a movie, because I don't consider Mexicans watching 9999 episode soap operas actual people) but if we free ourselves from the classical paradigm of thinking we can imagine a story as a multidimensional object. Not just something told in a post on 4chan (it's still ultimately linear). If neurointerfaces in this boring world will finally be developed enough to allow for two-way transmissions, multidimensional stories like that would be possible. In fact, even you, anon, jumping through different CYOAs is one such multidimensional stories. You might be finished with Outer Reincarnation, but you're not really bored of all CYOAs at once when you're done with it, are you? Are you?...

First, just go to jumpchain if you like that idea.
Second, if you need to reboot it and change the setting and what your character does in order to keep yourself in it, can you even call it the same story? At that point you are simply writing new stories with a central character as the center and adapting him to the new version situation. As you know, a writer does when he writes.

>Anon, the escapism has a definitive end.
So a single story ends then the escapism ends? No. I can make more stories. Sure, let's say they're new stories with the same characters, how does it affect my escapism? I want to continue my escapism forever, whether you call that one single stories or multiple stories with 'me'.
>Second, if you need to reboot it and change the setting and what your character does in order to keep yourself in it, can you even call it the same story?

That wasn't the point of the discussion. Sure, you can keep the escapism going forever with new stories. The point is that you will eventually change things up after one story ends and you move on to the next, you cannot keep one single narrative going forever. With that, the idea that your character has to be immortal is pointless, that particular story will end and you will move to the next.

I still need to select my last event but without knowing what will be followed up in year 2 it's very hard to decide. Besides from what I understand Liminal is planning some revamps so it might invalidate the choices I've already made anyway.

>Up:
Pursuits: Naturalist 3
Companions: The Chronicler

With the knowledge from this, I'll be able to learn better in the Druid Pursuit, the Druidess will learn from us as well, and perhaps we'll be able to discern some more information from the Wizard's Keep.

>North:
Pursuits: Druid 3 -> Woodsman 3
Companions: The Donkey, The Druidess
Keystone: The Wizard's Keep

With the Druidess' help, we should be able to defeat the Shapeshifter easily enough.

I will be in the forest during my time as a Woodsman, so the Dryad will only take action after year 9.

>Center:
Save: Aunt

She is the best companion for dealing with magical matters, the most helpful for deciphering the magical books, dispelling the curse, and dealing with magical enemies.

>Advisors:
The Chamberlain, The Commander, The Diplomat, The Merchant

Troops, allies, and money (for more troops and allies).

Uhhh, the line "the years you spend must be dedicated only to them" sounds to me like you have to spend those years saving a family member OR courting the maiden, you don't get her as a bonus in the same way as the other companions. If you want to save your entire family and gain true love then you need to dedicate the entire 10 years to it.

Well Charlotte kinda has a lot of advantages against other outsiders:
She controls the most powerful and technologically advanced nation spanning multiple continents.
She has tens of thousand of immortal empyreans under her command.
She controls the pillars and is essentially the
most powerful god currently.
She has over 200 years of experience.

But besides that you got to consider that if the anons win, what are they gonna do? They probably not gonna want to return the elder gods onto the pillars and falsely ascent themselves and the end result might actually be worse than Charlie being on the pillar especially if the anons start infighting on how they want the world to run. So the elder gods will once again need to scheme to depose a second set of outsiders.

Posting my build before the update is out and kill it.

>Patron God : [YMRD]
I like her theme the most, chance, lore, secrets. I also like her unique death slot and ending.

>Parents
>Laika (Greater Yus)
>Thallan of the Orthrung (Yat)
I mostly chose them for the Inborn Gifts.
I try to chose Death Slot that are fitting or cool.
Laika the consummate politician getting lost in her mask, whether that mask end up being the politician or the "loving Mother" time will tell. I don't think I will be able to see the night sky so we likely will not bond even if I study astronomy.
Thallan, everything he knew was destroyed while he was underground and he keep going, being lost underground for 20 years didn't stop him, he can be trusted with Yat.

>Race : Drow
Save me the time of figuring out agelessness myself.

>Languages
>Everman, Palatiner, Fay, Nymphe, Spriggan, Greenspeech
Palatiner for Laika, I can't start in the Exarchate otherwise. Nymphe for a mentor and magic books, and Greenspeech for a companion.

>Location : The Exarchate : New New York
Make sense that the ambassador turned politician live at the capital.

>Inborn Gifts
> Missed Shape (left arm), Cognitive Speed, Memory Retention, Wisdom, Intelligence, Attentiveness, Spiritual Feel, Caster Intuition, Agelessness, All-Glimpse, Esurient Walk x2
All the mental boost, both magic talent, All-Glimpse to become fluent in the God-Script and really good at magic (great for investigation too) and double Esurient Walk for the time stop. If I can figure out some of the effect of Everlasting (no hunger, thirst & exhaustion) with magic, I could run and never stop, giving me near unlimited time to study the God-Script and my magic, while no one else is getting better.

>Mentors
>Lyndis of the Doria (Tsy) (Dice Fudge)
>Kashtanka of the Orthrung (Iotated Ouk) (Untimeskip)
My build got a lot of Inborn Gifts to learn to use and combo together, so having Kashtanka training from the start is invaluable, the wisdom her teaching provide is equally invaluable to have from the very start.
Dice Fudge is free so might as well keep the hypercompetent advisor that teach how to go all out against your problem, how to not fuck yourself over when studying magic, law, logistic and how to not drown in paperwork.
When the mysterious advisor disappear (Tsy) I know shit are going to hits the fan and I think Kashtanka got the willpower to survive Iotated Ouk.

>Companions
>Geminara of the Doria (Lesser Yus)
>Sigard (Ouk)
>Araith (Zelo+Zhivete)
Sigard magic and Araith being the last true dragon are both really cool, I want to witness and study both.
Sigard get to reach the height of his craft, while the island (probably got bigger) size dragon go down in an epic cataclysmic battle, but since I don't want dragon to stop existing she get to survive fine.
Got 1 point left so I got some future knowledge that might or might not be useful, maybe I can study the throne by looking at her past, not happy with her Death Slot but it could be worse, not sure if it would be lucky or unlucky for her to end with a future and present personality.

2/3
Anonymous No.96290160 >>96290176

>Youth
>Martial Training, Theology, Plotting, Parental Support (Thallan)
Basic martial training neither the mentors nor parents can teach me, learn the stories of the gods and various interpretation of the God-Script, Witch-scout training, stealth and divination as rarely useless.
Between the Inborns Gifts and Kashtanka's training I should be a lot smarter and wiser, would be a waste not to think ahead.

>Quest : Temperantia
Self-explanatory, travel above and below the surface, maybe even travel beyond the sky. Use the All-Glimpse and mental Gifts to figure out what happen, how things use to be and how it might or might not relate together, to the present or the future. Looting too.

>Death Slot : Dobro
I thought of taking Yest and magic around the saying "you are what you eat" to possess the beast that eat me but too risky. So Dobro, or Tsy with extra step, figure out some body double magic will in time stop, talk about it to no one and disappear and/or make a new identity after my "Death".

well this is the quote from Tankista
"The proper, normal ascension is something that happens naturally after you’ve experienced every possible role in every possible story, granting you the understanding and qualification necessary to write your own ones – you become an Elder God, indistinguishable from the three already existing ones. Whether that means you get your own new pillar with a new theme or you copy one already present and leave to make your own world doesn’t really matter.

There’s false ascent, a process through which you become an Empyrean. It’s the state that is opposite to being Undead. Undead are too firmly embedded in the world/story and refuse to let go of their lives in it, defying the natural providence and staying β€œalive” despite everything. Empyrean is the opposite, the state where you’re too detached from the world/story, and so your physical death doesn’t really matter to you – you can just jog back to your corpse as a spirit and revive. Despite principles behind both things being opposite, the outcome is similar. I’ll touch upon this a bit more in the update this summer (hopefully).

And then there’s False Ascent (but it’s often not capitalized in the CYOA) – the very first instance of the previous thing occurring, given greater importance because it was conflated with the moment when 00 entered the Three Pillars and killed [JNPL], taking her spot."

You are the 11th of the heroes imported from earth known as outsiders, generally they tend to go around and save the world or conquer it, half the major factions were established by outsiders as an example. So your pretty damn strong. You pick your characters parents and what innate gifts they have so a fair bit. Lots of companions and mentors. Main conflict is that your predecessors predecessor killed one of the 3 main gods of the world (responsible for granting life purpose) and is attempting to force the world to obey her own limited understanding of physics.

Three goddesses want to turn the people of their fantasy planet from characters in their stories into more of their co-authors, all of these goddesses also have their own different philosophies about a good story and how people should ascend to godhood.
One of them sends the world a mixed blessing of a reader-insert once every century, the reader-inserts also have the mixed blessing of a ton of unfair advantages but also knowing the dramatic fates of the friends that they chose in the womb.
The reader inserts do the things that reader inserts do, dying of either natural or violent causes, until the second-to-last reader insert is left alone to rebel against the gods. Her successor fails to defeat her, and she conquers most of the world. Now the CYOA starts with the arrival of the 11th reader insert.

Well, there are differences. Baraqu has more control over you and obligates you to being his lover even unto the end of year 1. Inanis gives you more freedom outside of the 3 month period where you serve as some guy's concubine, then you're no one's lover. Baraqu is all about water magic, with Inanis you're all about shadow magic. Inanis's path also ties you to the Sana, the effects of which are going to be an unknown. Similarly, we know way more about Baraqu's intentions, especially towards you, than we do Inanis's. How does she see the player, and what does she intend for us in the end? These are completely unknown in year 1, she has played those cards close to her chest. Anyway, I absolutely understand preferring Baraqu (not having to deal with the Sana, his intentions being a known factor) and as of year 1 his path is objectively better in regards to rewards and power (Inanis's no implement casting is nice, but you only get a baby tier spark and no real artifacts so far) but that's not really what it's about. Like I said, I just feel drawn to Inanis's path, despite it not being as strong as Baraqu's so far. There's just something about it that makes me pick it regardless that I can't explain.

So there are these 3 evil elder gods, who subject people in an eon long cycles of reincarnations where people have to suffer trough every possible scenario imaginable so they would be transformed into elder beings like them. They pretty much manipulate and toy with everyone's lives and have ended and remade the world at least 3 times.

You are a soul the plucked from earth by the outsider system created by the obnoxious psycho goddess to "shake things up". You are the 11th outsider. The sadistic gods created a really fucked up reincarnation system you pretty much force your future parents to meet trough fate manipulation as some eugenics program to gain the best traits. You select more traits with the leftover points. You also manipulate the fates of your future mentors and companions so you are fated to meet and join up. And the worst part you got to select predestined deaths for yourself, your family and your companions. Yup specific unavoidable deaths like suicide, get stoned and stuff like that. But otherwise you are free to do whatever you want.

Of course there is still hope one of the previous outsiders successfully rebelled against the elder gods, thrown them of their pillars and ascended to take their place. She killed one of the gods, but the remaining are still hiding and plotting their revenge.

The everqueen of all men has freed the people from the shackles of the elder gods and gave them freedom to do anything they want. Besides liberating the people, she has promoted equality, uplifted technology and killed evil magical creatures.

I'm not sure, I think it's context-dependent. I semi-frequently see almost naked men beating each other unconscious in the UFC, but there's nothing sexual about that.

>>96276113
This is a pragmatic plan, much more likely to succeed than not. Divine Nemesis is an interesting option because it differs from anon-to-anon. I assume that for most, it would be Grit, but some might dislike Brawn or Instinct for simplicity, or Fury for its animalistic state, etc. Instinct does have the slowest healing factor, but it's the second most thorough after Fury. Once it's run its course there's no sign that there ever was an injury, whereas Brawn could easily end up pitted with burns and scars.
Night Rider !hpsJLQ1ihk No.96291695 >>96291703
>>96291689
>>96276195
Fury is a mixed-bag. It can't match Brawn or Instinct in their specialties and can't mimic Grit's sorceries, but has arguably the highest survivability. If necessary, it can photosynthesize, evolve radiotrophy, or go the earthworm route and start tunneling. Its adaptations aren't supernatural in the sense that they're not able to break the laws of physics. That is to say, hyperevolved muscle fibers are only able to move as much as they should, but optimizing for strength on a microscopic level can do some outrageous things.

Out of the gate, Fury could adapt the punch of a mantis shrimp and jumping of a flea, and strike and lunge without worrying about the forces they're outputting destroying their own body parts, as they regenerate almost instantly. Further refinement from each adaptation builds on each other as they work more effectively. It falls far short of Brawn and Instinct, but can mimic both to a degree, where the other two are firmly in their own niche.

Grit is definitely hard mode, and somewhat experimental on my end. I notice anons always seem to take high-potential options when given the chance and I was curious to see if that would still hold true if it was terrible. Not in terms of quality, but in immediate difficulty and perpetual suffering. Anyone that could master Grit would be dangerous with or without powers.

>>96276348
Using Fury for flight is possible and would counter Brawn to an extent. While Brawn's strength assist in jumping, it has minimal-to-no precision, where Fury's adaptations could combine the best parts of, say, a dragonfly and falcon for supreme speed and control.
Night Rider !hpsJLQ1ihk No.96291703 >>96291707 >>96291727
>>96291695
>>96276607
Optimizing for stealth as Fury could elude everything aside from rare black-box technology, which Fury could then perceive and adapt in response to. Instinct doesn't have enhanced senses (beyond human perfection) but does have an immense subconscious grasp of its surroundings, due to its instinct. For example, if a sniper were hundreds of yards to their south, racked a bolt, and took a shot, Instinct would have a rising gut feeling and could react, despite having no conscious awareness of the danger prior to the dodging the shot. Even a stealthmaxxed Fury would run afoul of this, as Instinct would know that there was an invisible opponent once combat began and could then fight, but Fury's adaptations and regeneration render defeat almost a certainty. The smart thing to do against Fury as Instinct is to flee, but the nemesis is too arrogant to run.

>>96276638
That's fair. One of my bigger inspirations was some of the EntroDBZ builds, where early-on some anons broke down how they'd fight the government using their deathly powers. This got me thinking of making a CYOA oriented around the premise, of anon getting a busted supernatural ability and then having the global government crack down on them to force a guerilla conflict. The difficulty is extreme but I feel most anons could manage it. Now that I think about it, most of the danger is frontloaded. The longer you survive and get stronger, the weaker your enemies will be in comparison, although they're unlikely to be a non-threat.

>>96277324
>>96283101
Both reasonable responses. I'm not an expert, but I sifted the pics through some third-party software and the quality should be better now.

>>96277381
Instinct is arguably the best at evading capture through sheer speed and skill. You might have some upsets penetrating sealed bunkers and fortified mansions, but you could do a catastrophic amount of damage in a relatively short amount of time.

Having a waifu you can live alongside makes immortality a lot easier to handle. I'm surprised Companionship wasn't more popular, and, in addition to that, pleasantly surprised that anons are taking the danger seriously and nobody's maximized rewards by grabbing all Major Threats. I think it is theoretically possible to survive all Major Threats but would require airtight strategy, clever use of your powers, and being okay with causing a global cataclysm.

>>96277580
This build probably has the highest chance of survival, so far. Going underwater is ingenious. That, and the slime mold child trap is hilarious, albeit ruthless. Imagine your nemesis going to visit his son only to realize that you are literally in the walls, have welded the doors and windows shut, and are expanding inward.

>>96279053
Subjecting yourself to additional danger to advance faster is a very workable strategy, as long as you can survive said dangers. Brawn is the best for physical confrontation and broad-spectrum resilience. As long as you're able to consistently disengage for hours at a time, and stay mobile, you should survive. Major Threats do also encompass Minor Threats, but sculpted godheads are unintelligent and easy to avoid if you're either overall cautious or reckless about the risk of being seen via satellite.

>>96281916
Kek. Instinct could definitely break into various power-brokers' homes, and does give you a supreme comprehension of sex, as it is a physical skill. Likewise with driving, marksmanship, etc., but outright brainwashing them will take significant finesse and mental fortitude on your end, as they're 99% frail, elderly men and you don't have the same mastery over psychology.

it's not the quality, it's distorting their dimensions, never ever squish them, if you need a smaller part of them then either cut out the part you want or make the entire image smaller or larger without distorting it

So an Iotated letter is a magical transformation with similarities to the normal letter it imitates.
Ouk: Entering the spirit world.
Az: Someone else living your life.
Yest': Giving your life to an animal.
Lesser Yus: Self-evident.
Greater Yus: Taking another persona into your own.

So Charlotte was bewitched in a comparable fashion to suicide, though she also took a cheat letter of an equally unknown nature, likely the Empyrean counterpart to Zemlya. What 'death' fits that in your opinion?

You become the fog and gain vastly higher recovery, precision, and endurance. Though not necessary, you can manifest (or possess) a physical body to inhabit. Using your powers is still painful but by this point, your tolerance for pain is so immense that it's more akin to radio static than actual anguish. This pain tolerance isn't purely you getting used to it, rather, your body and soul are becoming more resilient on a fundamental level.

Someone that's been training Grit for five months would be almost impossible to torture through mundane means. The disaster aura is controllable later on. It can be thought of as radiation pouring into the surrounding environment. The more efficient you get, the less spillover there is. While there's always going to be some corruption, you can spread it thin enough that it's largely indistinguishable from what's already in the background.

>What is the "objective" here?
Your objective is to survive, and everything else is downstream of that.

>Defeating the shadow government?
The shadow government is what's behind the various threats. If you defeated them, you could rest easily, but they'll pursue you whether or not you leave them be, as you're a potential danger to them. Their paranoia can't co-exist with knowing that someone as powerful as you is out there. Fate is what brought you to their attention, as backlash for taking power beyond your means, but their actions are entirely their own.

>What is stopping me from stacking major threats, picking my rewards and fucking off with Escape before any threat can do anything?
In theory, nothing. In practice, you'll need to get a firm mastery of your powers and survive for a couple of decades before the Rewards trigger. This is because the Rewards are a counterbalance from Fate to compensate for unleashing the Major Threats on you, so they'll only come into play once you've dealt with them to a large enough degree. If you managed to go undetected and chill for long enough, that would be enough.

You have roughly six weeks before the threats become active. Getting on your feet and back into shape will be a bitch, but can be done. For the average person, the timeline is likely one day to start sitting up, a week to start moving without collapsing under their own weight, two weeks to gain anymore fatigue than a lifelong chain smoker with lung cancer, and three weeks to return to basic functioning.

This is assuming that the Grit user is putting in maximum effort. If someone is already used to suffering or has deep willpower, this will go faster. For instance, a man with chronic pain would likely excel with Grit.

Is there anything which stops Fury from pulling shit off like asexually reproducing given enough time to develop our skillsets and whatnot? Also since our only limits are biological and we can have theoretically infinite mass to play around with as seen by our regeneration which isn't hampered by a need to fuel ourselves like Brawn, does that mean if we can find the way to become a Kaiju as long as we figure out a way to get around that pesky square-cube law?

counterpoint: a blue whale is in water and tends to eat shit on land in a few hours. I don't want to be a kaiju that only can be that big in the water otherwise I'm just the Loch Ness monster. At minimum Shin Godzilla crawling on land is what I'm aiming for... which might be possible since even if my (relative to the rest of my flesh) softer tissue starts to fail under the weight of my other parts, Fury's regeneration would easily outpace it. Minimize the risk of not being able to draw in breath into my lungs from the crushing weight by breathing through my skin, as although the surface area might not provide enough I'm sure there's some adaptations that can reduce the need for oxygen.

That's exactly the things I'm trying to achieve. Firstly seeing if its even possible to amass so much mass, then from that point on what can I do to make it actually functional beyond looking cool but only being able to sit in one spot as my cardiovascular system starts shutting down and my bones start snapping under my fat ass. I don't really worry about the need to eat considering that Fury is capable of regenerating near infinitely, while it would be nice to cut out some time for things that are not eating, a bit of auto-cannibalism never hurt anybody.

Dinos are a step in the right direction alongside their avian-leaning descendants as hollow bones in a wireframe-like array (Hexagons? Triangles? Details unknown but there's time to play with them later) for maximum strength with minimal material is a must. Kind of would feel like cheating having a bunch of air sacs in my body, feels like wearing platform shoes just to look taller. I know form always follows function but considering that I'm behind the wheel of evolution this time I think some compromises for the sake of aesthetic can be made so I don't just look like a fleshy pyramid for the most optimal durability and stability.

Some other thoughts I had to ditch the weight where I don't really need it.
>Liver
Don't need it considering Fury's natural regeneration against toxins. Will it suck not having one and slowly getting poisoned every single second I don't have it? Of course but everything on the list will suck not having. Just bleed out the bad blood and let the new blood take its place, its basic 16th century science.
>Stomach
On the topic about food for energy, I don't think we really need one of these. Hell there's people who technically live without one today, we're just cutting out the middle man same as them. Not so sure on the efficiency of merging both the small and large intestines since at the end of the day I only plan to make them a really long tube which doesn't really save any extra space, so they can stay. Maybe I'll spit digestive enzymes on stuff beforehand to make it easier to eat like a fly except strong enough to melt through steel, there's some wriggle room here. Either way, stomach's gotta go.
>Brain
Kind of iffy. I mean, technically jellyfish and starfish such don't have brains but they also don't really do anything either. Cool idea to reduce weakpoints however as even though Fury can regenerate from nearly anything its gotta be disorientating cutting to black and coming right back. I think I can probably just get away with having a human sized brain in a titanic body, just a bit awkward considering how big my skull is going to be comparatively to what its sheltering inside... I guess a mostly hollow head does help the weight issue quite a bit though.
>Lungs
Already mentioned but lungs were going to be a logistical issue no matter what so they're on the chopping block. Being able to breathe through my skin is the first idea I've had since even if it makes me more exposed to airborne chemical agents or similar threats, I assume Fury's ability to fight it off is just as great as it is as dealing with physical injuries.

Outside help won't do much for Grit, as the strengthening is an internal process. It'd help if you were kept fed and hydrated in the early stages, but painkillers would reduce your rate of progress. Immediately after Grit, you'll look more like an emaciated skeleton than your previous self and most people would panic seeing their loved ones like that overnight. It's very likely you'd be taken to a hospital, yes. If you took long enough to recover, you might even get a disease named after you.

This gave me an idea, instead of just dumping the bad blood and wasting it, why don't you instead store it and use it as a weapon? like those thorny desert lizards that shoot hot blood lazers from their eyes when threatened. Maybe be you can even spice it up with some deadly venom or acid.

>Is there anything which stops Fury from pulling shit off like asexually reproducing given enough time to develop our skillsets and whatnot?
It would be possible to asexually reproduce as Fury, given enough time and effort. However, your consciousness and powers would stay in the larger or healthier of the offspring.

You can certainly evolve into a kaiju, as long as you can find a means of reaching that size without collapsing under your own weight. Reaching kaiju-size in the first place would be the hardest part of the process, as your body would quickly adapt to the weight and scale breaking you down. The adaptations would vary but generally take the quickest response to a given stimuli. For example, if you were lit on fire, you could start secreting fire-quenching oils, or in the case of reaching kaiju bulk, hollow out your bones to shed weight. It would take a lot of fine-tuning to get an optimal physiology, but it could be done.

Considering the sheer range and penetration of modern military technology, it's unlikely being a kaiju would aid your survival. It would probably be a post-threat evolution but Fury responds to your conscious will, as well as your subconscious. If you were dead-set on maximizing your size, it would try to make it happen. Generally, there's a conservation of mass with Fury, or trying to regenerate back to how it was before undergoing damage. This makes bulking through regeneration difficult. You would need to reach a high degree of conscious skill over Fury or find a situation that needs you to be larger to survive.

Not a bad idea, go the Xenomorph route to get 2 birds with one stone. I'm not exactly sure how acidic one can get their blood before it becomes more effort then its worth and spending more time to balance out with other evolutions, but certainly worth a try.

>>96292958
>It would take a lot of fine-tuning to get an optimal physiology, but it could be done.
All I needed to hear. I think being absolutely huge would be an advantage of a being that can regenerate from anything that isn't total annihilation, and grows even faster depending on how much damage there is to heal. Not sure how my chances fare with a nuke unless I specialize around surviving one, but repeated strafing runs should be no real issue if I ever manage to become even half as tall as a skyscraper. It's still definitely not the most optimal strategy but it will be the most flashy. Imagine the street cred when you roll up to a reality with other Manifestations and can say you survived as a giant monster.

*Regrows
By the way, what constitutes total body destruction? Can we regenerate as just a skeleton, need at least mass as much as a brain or something, or Wolverine levels from a single blood cell. And I assume whichever's the case it wouldnt necessarily scale up if we were to scale up since that'd be counterproductive to an evolution to hinder the innate abilities of a manifestation.

I'd want to see Uniter recruit Izz and have adventures all across the setting and the 2.0 characters could choose to join him or beat him up. The characters he hates from 1.0 might form another faction against him or become storied vagrants.

Cutting things finely is more about proper bracing and has little do do with fine motor control. Fine motor control does let one work faster though. However most of your fine motor control in cooking is really in baking, and even there a lot of techniques for cooking help get around a lack of fine motor control. Part of that is that the best cooks tend to spend all day cooking, but you need consistent performance all day long. So you either need both great dexterity and endurance, or you need techniques that provide consistent results regardless of your dexterity and endurance.
