Its a really good romance with tons of references to spiritual development and mysticism. The girls are angels literally, its following the thinking that the stars are angels, they get reincarnated to fight evil and theres a forbidden love with the main girl and Tuxedo Mask that keeps it going. These elements give the story depth, girls like the fashion and the ability to transform clothes, men like the long legs and mini skirts, its episodic while having an interesting over arching narrative. The art is really good, it has everything one could want from a fictional adventure story.

The DS ふたりはプリキュアmax heart beat-em-up actually has a solid foundation and could have easily been made into a serious arcade brawler if they'd expanded the girls' movesets a little bit and cranked up the difficulty.
