Finally got around to trying Executor. Kino remembrance aside, I don't get why people are bitching about the damage of his demon sword. The thing is primarily a defensive tool and does fine damage (damage that scales to your level, mind you) as is. Just use your guard counter and golden attack more if you don't deal enough damage. Imo his real issue is that his matchups are very lopsided. He either decimates an enemy or loses hard (without the right weapon), no in-between. As far as tanks go though he's pretty easily better than Guardian. Pretty easy solo character when you know what to avoid.

Bell deals 153 damage regardless of level.
At level 1 with her starting staff glintstone pebble deals 75 damage.
At level 15 with an albinauric staff (blue rarity) glintstone pebble deals 171 damage.
Tested on the target dummies in the roundtable. Even at max level the damage is still pretty good, nearly comparable to a blue weapon. Glintstone pebble has useful properties like having a shorter animation and faster flight speed, but the bell also has useful properties like massive range, great tracking, and lower fp cost.
If nothing else, bell is great for single target damage until you find something better, at which point you can just discard it. The amount of damage it pumps out at level 1 makes her otherwise very rough early game a lot smoother.

Pray for useful Seals. You will get terrible incantations on every Seal for 3 runs until you finally get one good incantation, and trivialize the 4th run. The incantation pool is full of garbage, but it literally just takes one good one to win. Use the relic to buff team mates, who will be carrying you until you get a good seal

Once you get good at using his ability to deflect from attacking, he's legit op.
I tank with him too, come in with as much vigor as possible , partial hp restore, and attack buff when deflecting is all you need.
Health is his only weakness and it's one of 2 stats worth putting on a relic (hp and endurance)., S arcane S dex is broken as hell so he needs no help for dps.

Deflecting time is super generous, about 3/4 second, hold down L1 and dont let go until you deflect or block (will drain ur stamina but u dont get hit if its physical)
Ult at worse is a full health restore, but its not bad for dps either. L2 should be used before it ends, its a claw attack (using it will always take u out of ult) does a ton of stagger too. Roar healing not really needed but it's his only other good relic passive, dont build around it.
Remember, actually drawing his blade is a deflect. It's about 1/3 a second after you activate the ability, and then the remaining animation is a deflect, so it can be used in reaction to attacks if you get that timing down.

He also abuses the passives really well. People won't believe me but he is tankier than guardian if you are good with deflects. If you get damage negation successive attacks, blocking (works on deflect) and dmg negation full hp he cannot die. That's why I tank with him. I like guardian too but he does zero dps unless I come in with poison + frost relics and stick to his base weapon. Meanwhile executor does a fuck ton of dps. Has a ton of hp if you come in with vigor + hp relics, like the aoe heal + item use boss relic, that gives 100 flat hp and makes it worth using for that alone, I think of it as a 5 vigor relic.
You wont ever die if you just stack different types of damage negation. The character is an auto win if you get used to it, and the attack buff when you deflect is a 15% dmg buff for a minute. It's broken.

Gets 98%-99% through the Nightlord dragon Caligo and gets wombo frost procced and goes down for his first time in the whole expedition. Unfortunately the executor was also down (and of course 3 barred kek). So now it was the birds time to shine. The crowning moment that guardians live for.

He punches the ult and jumps into the sky. Bro breathes a sigh of relief. The ult could probably even kill the boss because its so low. Problem is the bird can't decide what he wants to hit once he's in the air. So he lands perfectly triangulated between his teammates and the boss. He did no damage to the boss and didnt revive either of them. So what does the bird decide to do next?

He holds the button, creating a field buff for no one. Immediately takes a blast of frost breath so when his ult time is up he loses 80% of his health. Starts panic rolling, *chug*, freaks out and decides to go try to revive the 3 bar instead of the 1 bar. I give up. there's no way to make this garbage game varied. it's the same rollslop all the way down. wylder is still the best character by virtue of not being a slow retard dodging and having mobility. the colored stones gives no varied gameplay whatsoever, any spellcasting is garbage against bosses thanks to instant transmission attacks and attempting to tank anything with shields or poise is pointless because you could just have phased through any attack and poked or heavied for a poise break after some long ass attack string
No amount of modding can make the game fun even, any rebalance mod breaks whatever semblance of balance this game has. this shit depends too much on the character being a maniac rolling glass canon, any positive mod to HP or defense rips out the pants of the AI and makes you see that most enemies have like 2 attacks and they're only a threat because they spam that shit forever and the game hiccups and eats your input because dodge and run are the same input, or you made the mistake of using the z target. Anything this game rewards is those shitty skins that nobody cares about, or some secret cum chalice that weights for nothing.
And god help me trying to find any special event. I've yet to see mausoleums or that rot forest, but that's maybe because I haven't tried the remaining 3 bosses. I've spent 4 days without the lava map and sometimes 6 runs straight without even the mountain. Roguelike game with barely any randomness.

You also did not use R1 in either of the clips you posted. You're clearly powerstancing in one. Spamming Charged R2's is safer than R1's just by nature of "Charge Damage negation" existing. Additionally, you do more stance damage. Charged R2 also procs successive damage negates attacks. You can also still retaliate just as much, I'm not sure why you think you couldn't. The endlag on R1's while having less poise than R2's is just being willfully stupid. But it is fine, Raider is so straightforward, you don't need to play optimally to win.
