There was some suspicious talks about the sniper being le non-binary because his ending says "And so they left" while all the other character endings address them by their real sex, but something to consider here is that sniper is consistently accompanied by his spotter drone and other creatures of indeterminate sex are referred to as "it", which tranny devs wouldn't do because they consider it dehumanizing even when the character in question literally isn't human. Don't play RoR2 just in general. Probably go with Risk of Rain Returns, it doesn't have the same modding scene as the original but it's a superior base game.
