>>713163012>facts don't care about your feelingsThen you'd know that Bananza is not open world because it very clearly is not.
And citing Wikipedia to claim otherwise is kind of pathetic.
Funnily enough, Wikipedia cites two sources for its open-world claim and neither source even calls the game open-world.
One is a Polygon article that compares Donkey Kong to the Hulk and mostly talks about the destructible environments. It says 'open' once when it claims you destroy the terrain to open up new pathways. But that does not equate to the game being open world and it never claims it is open world.
The other source wikipedia cites is a gamesradar article that just goes over the reveal trailer. And the entire article is basically just vibes going off of the writer's observations off of the trailer with no first-hand experience, interviews, or anything to go off of but their vibes. And all this article even says is
>the platforming levels appear to be quite open-zoned in nature - in a similar vein to the likes of Kirby and the Forgotten. For one this is just the writer vibing the trailer and trying to make an educated guess. Second, it's being compared to Kirby and the Forgotten Land. Is that game Open World? No.
And even without citing wikipedia. It's pretty apparent that Bananza is not open world.
Was Banjo Kazooie open world? Was Mario 64 open world? Was Wario World open world?
No? Then what makes you think this game is?
