The reality is that you can't actually define what makes the Andro-eidos not human. They are human in every sense of the word, and by every metric that we actually value as humans. Even culturally they take after humans, the only potentially meaningful difference is their lack of human DNA. Hell, EVE is literally saying a prayer each time she finds a body core or beta cell, gathering the memory sticks is the equivalent of a Catholic running back to gather the bodies of the dead and bury them.

There is also the problem of potential stagnancy within the Andro-Eidos, no variance means that MS will literally keep refining the design until they're all basically clones and cannot deviate from dogma.
EVE being the miracle that she is achieved what Adam and Mother Sphere want in the best ending, now its just time to stress test before MS uses the design to improve humanity further.

We don't actually know how Mother Sphere views religion and the like, for all we know she views it as an integral part of humanity and that's why she doesn't mind the religious aspects or builds her ships to be angelic. And it's clear she's able to replicate the spiritual aspects too, as otherwise the Andro-eidos would not be taking them up or be able to have a crisis of faith in the first place. Ultimately the question just boils down to tribal stuff. Are other cultures of the same general species part of the same tribe, even though they have entirely different values and practices? If all of humanity was wiped out except say Britain and they went on to repopulate the globe, are the future children of those brits really related to the other cultures that were wiped out? Is humanity defined by our ancestry or the culture we build?
The game doesn't know, it's just an interesting question.

Fair questions but consider this: The Andro-Eidos do these things without understanding them at all, those modifications aren't because of culture as it is clear that they lack understanding of what that even is.
Both Naytibas and Andro-Eidos are dead ends, Saytibas because they're rapidly evolving animals that can't be called sentient; Andro-Eidos because the nature of Mother Sphere and the EVE protocol man that it'll just keep repeating Airborne squads.

We can pontificate of if that makes them human at all, but we know the answer is the same thing regardless: Humanity is physical, spiritual and intellectual. Neither Naytibas nor Andro-Eidos are human.
EVE becomes the closest thing to human in the best ending, an existence that could be considered a true evolution and not one of either two deviations that ultimately plateau and can't meaningfully progress.

They clearly understand the spiritual side of things like family, death, hatred, loss, faith, etc as well. I'll have to counter that Andro-Eidos didn't build Xion, Adam and Orcal did. They did build it for Andro-Eidos while Adam was learning how to make Alphas and fix everything he fucked up so bad, but Adam and Orcal were the minds behind the construction of Xion.
As a result you could say that everything in Xion is derivative of what Adam and Orcal taught to the inhabitants however many years ago that was.
The culture that exists in Xion now may be largely independent of whatever Adam and Orcal taught those initial residents, but it still originated from two humans that knew what they were doing.

Adding into that Barry has to explain to EVE the concept of cooking fish for food, since she doesn't really get it. The state of the fish kinda imply that nobody aside from Barry does this and even he isn't eating them. Or doesn't seem to be.

The game really needed icons for the area select, to show what areas had what completed. Like it shows Eidos 7 has a mark for all memory sticks and all beta cores if you've found all of those.

It won't tell you "congrats you've done everything", no, but you can endlessly chain ng+ if you want, a lot of stuff goes past what's available on the first run, including HP bar, skill upgrades, heal upgrades, all gear has mk2 versions, almost all costumes have 2 and some even 3 versions, but because the bad ending skips an area you have to run the game 4 times if you want the platinum trophy and also all costumes (it's like this because the third set of costumes wasn't actually in the game originally). There's also cans, fish and data logs to collect and they carry over between save files with the exception of chest passwords.

The good news is that you can accumulate that very quickly, by doing the event.
You get loads more currency for the hard mode of any given event, check the rewards and you'll see that you can grind for like twenty boxes a day.
Don't neglect your outpost lessons either, they give bonuses and increase your daily bulletin board rewards.
I forget the scaling but if I remember right outpost level only matters to your credits and experience accumulation, not the blue chips.

I think xion is an outlier because of Adam's influence there.
Like it only exists in that state because Adam wanted to know if the andro-eidos had the potential to be human. The dead legion all throughout the game are the actual way andro-eidos normally act , which is to say, stoic "do the mission" types ala day 1 eve (which, by the way, I think every survivor in Xion is ex-legion, so they've had hundreds of years to pick up on "emotional" things), but the amount of time it takes for them to be not a robot depends on a lot. Take that side quest with the woman who ran away and wants her precious. I've been learning more about the different daily (and other) tasks, so I'm starting to have some basics. I'm just going at it slowly though, trying to do what I can with the limited knowledge I have.
Though, I've got a mountain of suitcases (giving specific items from different lists) that I've been terribly afraid to use. It's a bit overwhelming on that side (for me, at least).

There's a new system that you've probably noticed. The Bonus Recruit system on the Ordinary Recruit page. It gives you a total of 6 copies of Liter, Naga or Alice. The math's is iffy, you could always ask the general but since playing day one I haven't noticed any difference.
Just by doing the story and daily/weekly tasks you'll get blue tickets hand over fist so your roster should start filling out pretty quickly, though it might take more time to get enough SSR girls to 3stars so you can break the 200 wall. Just make sure you properly fill out your wish list since it will let you select the waifu you want.
Remember to do your intercepts, you literally cannot ever have enough equipment to feed. The best way to get skill manuals is Simulation Room too.

She needs to remain a genuinely bad girl, so becoming an antihero we can empathize with that isn't fully redeemed for her sins is the only way.

I'd follow guide but know that certain fish only appear on certain areas. You have about 6 fishing spots, oasis in the great desert , cave and powerplant in the wasteland, cave in xion, pond under the clock tower in eidos 7, and lily's hide out in eidos 9. After you've gotten some points I suggest fishing in other areas except the oasis because the place keeps giving you mudskippers and lobters that give very little points. Also I think some areas make larger fishes easier to hook. Like eidos 9 makes it easier to grab sharks and pirurucus than in the oasis and less chance to waste your special baits on low tier fish.
