We see Adam hand wave away the single strongest unit we know that Mother Sphere has without any effort at all, there's a clear raw power gap here. She is a completely logical super advanced AI with a specific goal, she knows the capabilities of her enemies and as shown in two of the endings she isn't opposed to just sending in everything available when he is out of the picture or her back is against the wall figuratively. If she could do it at any point, then there's no logical reason presented why she wouldn't just reclaim Earth immediately. That's her stated goal and we have no reason to assume she's changed it.

If we assume she is just throwing darts at a board in the same trajectory and wasting resources, then you have to rationalise why she's doing that and it can't be the social interactions because they are all with other androids aside from Adam and Orcal. How did it take you 10-15 on demogorgon? Teleports and ranged attacks confusing you? If so I can understand why you'd have a hard time with raven and providence.
Also, Scarlet mechanic isn't very hard because she mostly attacks from one direction. She's mostly a parry check. You cannot remove her shields via beta skills but through parries. If you get the rhythm with her she's arguably easier than Raven who teleports all around you so you have to pay more attention to her than Scarlet.

This was my exact issue with the Adam fight; being punished for actually wanting to engage the enemy is such lame boss design. And it's not like I'm saying a boss should be 100% damage windows, but if I wanted to wait around that much, I'd play a turn-based RPG and not an action game.
